Welcome to Geppetto
===================
Welcome to Geppetto's documentation. Geppetto provides a simple and clean HTTP 
REST API to interact the `GPIO pins`_ of the `Raspberry Pi`_. All models of the 
Raspberry Pi are supported. 

Geppetto is written in Python and has been tested with 2.7, 3.3 and 3.4. 
`Geppetto's source code`_ is distributed under a `MIT license`_.

Geppetto is named after `Mister Geppetto`_, a character created by `Carlo
Collodi`_ in his novel `The Adventures of Pinocchio`_.
